Goodman Distribution Centre

Greenacre, NSW

The delivery of a world-class, architecturally designed distribution centre spanning 4.8 hectares. The development comprises four industrial buildings, creating 14 individual units, and is designed and constructed to achieve a 5 Star Green Star rating — setting a benchmark in sustainability and energy efficiency.

Project Complexities Successfully Managed:

Sydney Water approvals: Completed design submissions and diversions, including two Building Plan Approvals (in-scope and out-of-scope), SEA, and FIFM (routine and complex).
Section 4.55 approvals: Three MODs successfully prepared, lodged, and approved.
Construction Certificates: Managed and secured four separate approvals to maintain program delivery.
Remediation: Oversaw a comprehensive Remedial Action Plan (RAP) with Aecom-appointed auditor.
Procurement & Delivery: Coordinated overseas steel supply and installation, ensuring quality and program alignment.

Bunnings Caringbah – Super Store

Caringbah, NSW

Construction of a new 4-storey Bunnings Super Store, purpose-built to meet the retailer’s growing demand and deliver a modern, customer-focused experience.

The development included large-scale structural works, multi-level car parking, and a premium retail fit-out designed to support heavy daily foot traffic and operational efficiency.

Delivered on time and on budget, this project demonstrates Serlana’s capability to deliver high-value commercial builds while meeting stringent safety, quality, and scheduling requirements.

Today, the store stands as a flagship retail hub for the Sutherland Shire community.

Woolworths SRDC – Finger Docks

Sydney, NSW

Delivery of new finger dock infrastructure at Woolworths’ Sydney Regional Distribution Centre — one of Australia’s busiest logistics hubs. The works were designed to enhance heavy-vehicle access, streamline freight movements, and increase overall operational efficiency.

Project Complexities Successfully Managed:

Executed construction works within a live distribution environment, requiring careful staging to avoid disruption to daily operations.

Integrated new dock facilities seamlessly with existing warehouse structures and logistics systems.
Coordinated multiple trades to deliver civil, structural, and services components within tight timeframes.

Home Improvement Store

Marsden Park, NSW

Construction of a large-scale Masters Home Improvement Store, incorporating:

A polished concrete retail floor
Garden centre
Trade section with back-of-house facilities
Staff rooms, offices, and training spaces

The balance of the 35,000m² site was developed with extensive car parking, service roadways, a loading dock, and landscaping. The project achieved a significant milestone, becoming the fastest Masters store ever constructed in Australia.

Project Complexities Successfully Managed:

Delivered under a fast-tracked program to meet national rollout deadlines.
Successfully integrated multiple retail functions (trade, garden, home improvement) into one large facility.
Coordinated extensive civil and structural works across a large-scale site.

Home Improvement Store

Wagga Wagga, NSW

Construction of two major retail buildings on a 41,000m² site, comprising:

A Masters Home Improvement Store with a garden centre, main retail floor, trade section, back-of-house areas, staff rooms, offices, and training facilities.
Block A, a separate bulky goods retail building designed to accommodate up to four tenancies.

The balance of the site was developed with extensive car parking, service roadways, a loading dock, and landscaping to support both facilities.

Project Complexities Successfully Managed:

Coordinated the simultaneous delivery of two large-scale retail structures within one program.
Integrated bulky goods and home improvement retail formats into a cohesive retail precinct.
Managed site logistics and infrastructure across a large 41,000m² footprint, requiring extensive civil and services works.
